The goal of private classes is to develop your personal yoga practice, designed specifically for you by taking into account your morphology, temperament and physiological issues (lower back pain, knees hyperextension, stiffness in the hips, etc.). We are going to meet for the first time in order to evaluate your current state, your needs and expectations regarding yoga practice, i.e. increase flexibility and reinforce muscles; relieve back pain; learn how to relax the body and calm the nervous system or simply re-establish your vital energy and overall sensation of well-being. It is possible to finish the postural practice with a short meditation session.
Based on this information, I will design a sequence of postures adapted to your body, needs, daily schedule…so that you can practice it on your own going forward. We are then going to have several yoga sessions together until the sequence is well understood and internalized by you. During the practice, I’m going to guide you and make necessary adjustments. This knowledge will be useful in the future not only for your personal practice but also for the collective yoga classes if you decide to take some. It will allow you to adapt the poses according to the understanding of your body’s specificities that you will have gained by then and correctly adjust yourself in each pose.
The classes are suitable for beginners and for more experienced practitioners who wish to deepen or enrich their personal yoga practice. The classes are individual or for small groups. It is possible to have yoga classes at home or at work. I teach in English, French and Russian.
